The conference carried out all-round, high-standard and in-depth exchanges on multiple topics, including how to seize opportunities to help industrial enterprises achieve "overtaking on curves" through technological progress, advance the development of ferroalloy production toward automation, green development, low carbon and intelligence, boost integrated technological development of ferroalloy, industrial silicon and their supporting industries, tackle key technical bottlenecks in efficient energy utilization and industrial chain extension, and build modern green, low-carbon and smart factories. In addition, focused seminars and Q&A sessions were held on core hot and difficult issues such as low-carbon silicomanganese smelting in closed electric furnaces, raw material pretreatment technologies, short-flow refining technologies, ferroalloy purification, recycling of ferroalloy waste, automation and intelligence, as well as electrode technologies.
